Research Assistant and Web Design
I was selected to take part in U of T's Scholars-in-Residence program to contribute to Dr. Lorenza Bennardo and Dr. Rebecca Moorman’s Impoverished Aesthetics research project. Our team focused on finding connections between Latin literature and modern media, turning our findings into blog posts. My blog explores how the use of metamorphosis as a storytelling device has evolved over time, with a focus on Ovid’s Metamorphoses poems and Studio Ghibli’s anime films. After completing the program, I continued to work with Dr. Bennardo to design, publish, and disseminate the blogs me and my team wrote. I designed the Scholars-in-Residence web page using Wix and the graphics using Canva.
